Novgov
Conquer your city, one neighbourhood at a time. A turn-based strategy game played on the real streets and buildings of your city.

The game
The game is currently available in French. More languages will follow.
Your real city
Maps come from OpenStreetMap: real streets, squares and buildings. Your soldiers enter buildings and climb onto rooftops to see and shoot further.
Turn-based
Place your troops, draw their paths, give your orders, then hit “End turn”: the simulation plays out and you see what happened.
Conquest
Your HQ is set up in your own neighbourhood. Take the free neighbourhoods around you: they earn you Action Points, even while you are offline.
Player sieges
A neighbour holds an area? Launch a siege: a real turn-based battle between the two of you. The winner takes the area and its loot.
Conquest, step by step
- On first launch, your location is read once to place your HQ in your neighbourhood (an area of about 200 m).
- Take the free neighbourhoods next to yours: it is free and instant.
- Each neighbourhood earns Action Points every 5 minutes, even offline, plus a daily bonus.
- Spend your Action Points at the barracks to recruit troops, or to upgrade your neighbourhoods (up to level 3).
- Attack a neighbouring area held by another player: they are notified, and the battle starts as soon as you are both online.
- Not online at the same time? After 6 hours, the battle is played automatically with your barracks troops.

Your army
Play solo too
Solo mode needs no account and no connection: face the computer on a city built into the game and learn the controls. Online, an ELO ranking rewards the best commanders.

Your location stays private
Novgov reads your GPS location once, on your phone, to choose your HQ neighbourhood. Only that area of about 200 m is used by the game: your exact coordinates are neither sent nor stored, and you are never tracked afterwards.
