Terms of use

Last updated: October 28, 2026

By installing or using Novgov, you accept these terms. Novgov is published by Fathi Said Hassen (France), contact: contact@novgov.com.

1. The service

Novgov is a free turn-based strategy game with no ads and no in-app purchases. It offers an offline Solo mode and an online Conquest mode, played on maps from OpenStreetMap. The game may evolve: rules, balance, features and game data may change to improve the game.

2. Age and account

3. Rules of conduct

You must not:

If these rules are broken, we may change a username, cancel gains obtained unfairly, or suspend or delete an account. Except in urgent cases, you will be informed by email and can reply.

4. Real-world safety

Novgov is played on maps of real cities but never asks you to move. Battles happen only in the game: do not try to find other players, respect real places and people, and never play while driving.

5. Virtual items

Neighbourhoods, Action Points, troops and other game items are virtual, have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money.

6. Availability

We do our best to keep the game available but cannot guarantee it at all times (maintenance, outages, changes). The service may be modified or discontinued; if online play is shut down, players will be warned in advance where possible.

7. Intellectual property

The game, its code, texts and visuals are protected. Map data comes from OpenStreetMap, © OpenStreetMap contributors, under the ODbL licence (openstreetmap.org/copyright).

8. Liability

The game is provided free of charge, as is. To the extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for indirect damage arising from its use, or for the loss of game data.

9. Personal data

See the privacy policy. You can delete your account at any time: delete my account.

10. Changes and governing law

These terms may change; the update date is shown at the top of the page and significant changes are announced in the game. They are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first; failing that, the French courts have jurisdiction, subject to consumer protection rules in your country.
